My Australian travel companion Gay!!
And she thought that I didn't get a photo of her with the helmet on.
How about those plums!

Monday morning…….the beginning of our camping trip. We piled
our luggage into Dave’s car and left Vancouver. On the way I
had to purchase a sleeping bag to keep me warm whilst sleeping in
the mountains, and then we headed for the Okanogan Valley.
This is a very famous fruit growing area of British Columbia.
Dave and I chatted a little just getting to know each other a bit
better and making each other comfortable with each others company,
knowing that we had to spend the next four days together, probably
knowing full well that it would be no effort. I am a very
patient type (heehee) and he is very considerate. Whilst we
drove we listened to a radio broadcast on CBC radio. A sweet
young thing on the program said “Hey, you know in Canada the CAN is
more important than the Da. Neither of us knew what on earth
she was talking about and we looked at each other questioningly and
then cracked up laughing. More ice broken.
