After returning to the states from Sint Maartins, I began putting together ideas for this web site. I had plans to be at Mardi Gras in New Orleans the end of February. Because I had to take an entire week off from work, I had some free time after Mardi Gras to travel through Florida. I knew that money would be really tight, so I had prepared several batches of "Dave's Beef Jerky" for the trip. The Jerky didn't make it out of New Orleans because I used it as a photo prop. I survived the rest of the week on Ramen Noodles and boiled eggs.
