Tree Fall
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Tennessee |
I took short trip
with my friend Ken to the Smoky Mountains in July of 1999. He
always insists on driving and I don't mind that. This allows me
to swing my head around as I would like to when I am traveling alone.

I like the way
the clouds are positioned in front of the mountain in the background.
It gives the picture so much more depth. To see it all in
the reflection on the water was a big plus also.

Riomaggiore
Cinque Terre, Italy |

It was late in the day when we arrived. Since this was not tourist
season, there seemed to be only one hotel open at this time of year.
The hotel and room were both very nice with a balcony view of the
harbor. A bit expensive, but we didn’t have a choice, and the view was
wonderful! more... |
