MY PERSONAL FAVORITE

Hi Dave, you might wander just abit who I am, so let me tell you. I am
18
and live in ******* In. I am currently a senior, and have
taken all the art classes offered at my school. Now, before you delete this
e-mail i thought you might be interested in what i have to say to you. My
first opionion of you when i saw you was that you must be somekinda devil
worshiper, wierdo that likes to stay inside in your basement burning things
living with mommy still 7 years after you dropped out of school, however!!!!
NOt to worry i have changed my opinion and i was always told not to read a
book by the cover. SO please don't be offended. Alright now that i have
told you i have seen you before you are probably wandering where? well i went
to the Dairy queen about 3 months ago or so and i saw this guy with some old
shorts on a long goatie and boots not laced.... also wearing a "IAMDAVE.COM"
SHIRT. So obviously i wandered what the heck that ment... so i asked one of
your buddies behind me, you were with 2 other guys and prolly just getting a
bite to eat. I had never seen any kind of shirt like that before so i asked
and he told me you liked to take photographs around the world.... and i was
like really and he said yeah of landscapes.. then that was the last time that
i saw you and i was set on going to that site.. well days went by, then weeks
then a few months and here i am on a saturday and just remembered your
shirt... i have been scoping out your page and i think that your pictures are
very awesome!!!! i had no idea that a person like yourself would give up so
much in order to catch the beauty of nature... i think that you are
definately talented and keep up the good work, i will tell my friends about
your page, godbless missy

I was very impressed with your work. The tree amazed me. I would have
never thought of that
being such a beautiful picture if I was looking from the outside.

i'm living in Durban South Africa.
My father was Norwegean, and we lived in Sortland for ten years.
He had a big fishing boat and spent many months in Lofoten cod fishing.
I stumbled on to your site while looking at stuff from Norway and i must comment you on
your brilliant pics, they were stunning, and really
made me homesick. Gavin

Does it ever make you upset/angry about the way others react to how you
look? I have always believed to never judge someone by how they look, but
it is hard, especially if you have never heard them talk before. I'll
admit, the first time i saw you it kinda freaked me out for a few. Until I
heard you talk. It changed my mind pretty quick. kim

Well, Dave once again you have provided with some great pics. I dont
know
how you manage to get to those places but I would love to be there to take
in what cannot be captured by pictures. You can almost feel the cold in some
of them. I really appreciate your site. Jeff

You're a special person to do the things you do. Patty

from laughing so hard. you know how sometime you tell a story and then like
halfway through youre like "never mind i guess you had to be there" well this
was not one of those stories , i havent laughed that hard in a while.

I checked out
your web site and really enjoyed it. I'm sure you don't need me telling you
this but you've got a talent and I hope things go well for you in the
future. Take it easy man. Greg

I was in burger king the other day and saw the front of your
"www.iamdave.com shirt"...then I saw the back of your shirt. I thought to
myself: would it not be amusing if the drawing of the guy on the shirt is
the guy wearing the shirt? then you turned back around....it might have been
the goatee that tipped me off ...
anyway, I found the whole situation amusing enough to check out the website.
it's not everyday you see some guy wearing his own website shirt with his
picture on it! I was pleased....I enjoy photography very much!

now,
but what i saw is beatiful. its awesome to see someone doing something with
there talent, so few people actually do. Amber

hey dave it Lori from the holiday inn in **********. you came in to ask
for directions to the american legion and i was very facinated by your goat
and you even let me touch it. anyways you gave me this website to check out and let me
tell you that it was totally exciting. hey you have
some great art. lori

Dave,
I recently saw you in a little bar in Manhattan, Ks...Rowdy Trouty's. Just letting you
know that your web sight is great and I'm kicking myself
for not starting up a brief conversation. I was curious about your shirt but didn't want
to be another goob walking up and asking about your
shirt. Anyway, good luck with your future travels.

How I managed to catch sight of you in a crowd of
25,000 people is beyond me. Maybe it was due to the
fact that you were standing right in front of me at
the second stage of X-fest 2000 during Disturbd's
performance and I caught your website address on the
back of your shirt. I'm glad I remembered to look it
up when I got back to Muncie because you have some
very cool photos on there! Tabbi
