Dave had arrived alone on Saturday.  He had planned on camping with a friend on Vancouver Island for the week before the meet.   His friend pulled out too late for him to rearrange his holiday time.  I had originally booked an airfare to Calgary to stay with Aurora for the balance of my two week vacation.
