Post Sunset Duomo

After walking for a bit, Diane and I finally got back to the Duomo.  Easy to find the hotel from here.  The sun was down and electric light was illuminating the Duomo.  I set my camera upon my low tripod, and left my shutter open for about 60 seconds for this shot.  There are people in this shot, but they moved fast enough not to leave their image upon the film.  In fact, one guy even walked towards me, around the bike, and then exited stage left.
The subject of this photograph is the Duomo.  As your eye wanders, you notice the Baptistry to the left, the Campanile on the right, and the dome over the Duomo just right of center.
With all this going on...  I like the bike!

We had now been up for 29
hrs. straight, and went to bed rather hungry. We slept from 8:00 p.m.
till midnight. Dave awoke at midnight thinking it was around 4:00 a.m.
with the intention of getting some sunrise shots, and went out for
awhile anyway. Crazy hours!
