The Guinness harp and logo outside the doors of
the Guinness Storehouse brewery tour.
(I couldn't resist digitally painting my mark on the wall)
The self guided tour takes you through all aspects of Guinness.
Arthur Guinness' vision, ingredients, brew process, and advertising
garb. Five levels of everything Guinness. After the
tour, Your ticket entitles you to a free Guinness at the Gravity Bar
which is a round glass room above the brewery overlooking Dublin.
I drank my free Guinness and most of Diane's when a tourist gave me
her free beer also. Then I had another. I hadn't eaten
since the breakfast at the B&B in Wicklow. After finding the
car, I tried to escape the city. Heavy afternoon traffic was
forcing me to crowd into a small space behind a Bass delivery truck
which at one point, hit the brakes and I tapped his bumper.
Only hard enough to hear at least 50 empty kegs make a loud
racket. The truck driver kept moving on. Glad I got that
"no questions asked" insurance plan for the rental car!

Admission to the Guinness Storehouse... 13.50 euro.
