I was told that I should
get my coffee from the place across the street. I did just
that, but also asked the attendant if I could shoot her. A
line like that could make any late night convenience store clerk
nervous. I showed her my portfolio, she agreed, and this is
the result of one evening together at Mill Race park in Columbus
Indiana.

The series of photos was shot with 400 speed film. Film exposed shortly
after
sunset on a hazy day. Most of the exposures
were a 1/2 second or longer. I also used a flash to fill in
shadows.
