The road lead to a high cliff over the lake.
Here, you are looking down to the rocks which have fallen from the
cliff and are now piled along the shore. That pea soup fog is
coming in still.
And what do you think that dark smudge is? This is the first
photograph that I noticed this mark. It is a huge scratch on
the back of my lense. Scratch that, it was a gauge. At
first, I thought it was dirt, but I noticed my lens was scratched
while in Kentucky in May 2002. I wasn't able to get it fixed
until after my return from Italy in 2003.
