By this time it was pretty late and we both knew
we’d have to be up before first light next morning for Dave to catch
the early morning light for good photographs so we turned in for the
night. It was my first time camping for twenty five years and
I wondered how I might find the comfort of tent life, but being
adventurous and having already considered this (of course), I was at
least emotionally prepared. We were both actually very, very
tired, having not slept much in the four days of the meet, so we
fell asleep very quickly.
