Morris Island Lighthouse
Morris Island Lighthouse is located at Folly Beach South Carolina.  I knew there was a lighthouse here and found no parking near the path to the light.  After finding a parking space, I walked quickly down a long path to catch enough light to expose the film.  By the looks of the birds in the foreground, you can see that it was a long exposure.  The water currents around this lighthouse are very dangerous.  No swimming allowed.

This 8 second exposure captured a patch of evening life that so few ever enjoy.   The sun was down just to the left.  Side light to the lighthouse, pinkish glow in the haze above.  Birds a blur on the shore while a waves crest leaves a long misty swash across the water.

Someone once said...  ohhhhh..*chills*     even your verbiage is wonderful!
