Thanks
for showing me the way y'all.

So, a guy I work with goes
fishing with his family every Memorial Day, Independence Day, and
Labor Day weekends. He told me to come on down and camp with
him anytime. Told me basically where it was, and a friend drew
a really crude map of the area. I didn't leave Indianapolis
until late in the evening. Rain came down hard most of the
trip south. I ended up getting lost. I had to use the
restroom really bad, so I stopped at the Uptown Bar in Dugger
Indiana. Walked directly to the very unclean facilities and
did my business. I hadn't intended on staying until one from
this table yelled my name. I ended up staying for a couple of
beers, and told them about how I was lost and showed them the map.
They all laughed at the scribbles on the paper and couldn't figure
out where it was. I knew I was doomed. Then, a friend of
some of these people walked into the bar and was given the map.
He said that he knew where it was, and was glad to lead me there.
After dropping me at the front gate of the state forest, I found my
friends camp site and built a fire. Now remember, It has been
raining very hard all evening. The wood in the back of my
truck was soaked. It was at least midnight when I stuffed some
paper into an empty beer box and stacked some relatively dry wood
over it. One quick flick with a dry lighter and the fire was
good to go. It rained most of the night and I kept that fire
going strong. So strong in fact, A friend of my friend was in
her tent across the street and had to stick her head out the tent
door to satisfy her curiosity about the bright glow out yonder.
She ended up calling for help after getting her hair caught in the
tents door zipper. I heard someone saying something in the
heavy rain, but didn't know what she was saying. A drunk
couple also stopped by to enjoy my fire. I believe I stayed up
until 4 am. Early the next morning, children were running
around the camp when I woke up. I crawled out of my tent,
raised my arms and let out a deep loud yell as I did my morning
stretch. About 6 children who had never seen me started to
scream and run for the safety of their parents arms. They grew
calm around me as the day wore on.
*** note ***
In July 2003 I received word that the restrooms are much nicer now.
