Morning Glory

This is a close up shot of a flower I saw along a trail in the Everglades near Flamingo.  The Mosquitoes where very bad, even with bug sauce on.  When I saw these purple flowers along the tree and vine lined trail, I had to stop and get a shot.  I always carry a lens reversing ring for times like this.  The ring has a lens mount on one side, and a screw mount for the front of the lens on the other.  I am then able to look through the lens in its reverse position.  This lets me zoom in very close to subjects.    This Morning Glory was probably only 2 or 3 inches from my lens.  There is not much depth of field control when using the lens this way.
