New York's Times
Square, 1999
first in a series of "Worlds
Largest Parties"
Happy New
Year!!!
When that bomb blew up under the World Trade Center in 1993, I understood
that it was not the last time New York City was going to be hit in
that manner. I didn't want to be in that city for the next big
explosion. This Times Square event is televised around the
world, and may be a valuable target for someone wanting to
strike a blow to the United States. I figured that the year
would be 2000.
Just a few people that waited for 6 hours in the cold to watch a
ball drop down a pole so that we could leave. Some people
entertained the rest of us by singing sitcom and cartoon songs over
and over...
and over.......
