Boxing Day at Peggys Cove

This gives the feeling of expansiveness that I feel when I see a Lighthouse.  I imagine myself in a boat, far away from land, and the only thing to guide me is a global positioning satellite which is putting these beautiful structures out of work.

Boxing day, Saturday.
Again, I woke before the sun and set off to get some great shots.  I always enjoy return trips to areas that I have seen because I have a better knowledge of what is to be seen there.  This time, I stepped back away from the Lighthouse to get a wide angle shot of the snow covered shore.
