Little Round Top on the Gettysburg
Battlefield.
This monument is to Governor K Warren. I was there as the sun was
breaking out of the clouds and a ray lit the spot where the monument
stands.

3 pm July
2nd, 1863
General Meade tells Governor K Warren to ride over to yonder hill to
check the situation. From this vantage point, Warren could see
that the union army had a vulnerability. He went against
orders and ordered men to defend this clear high spot which
overlooks the battlefield.
